About the Practice

Istikhara is not fortune-telling.
It is sincere prayer.

Istikhara is the Sunnah of seeking Allah's guidance when standing at a crossroads — not a prediction, but an opening of the heart toward the better path.

Our scholars perform Istikhara on your behalf with full sincerity, fasting where appropriate, and convey the impressions Allah grants — alongside thoughtful counsel grounded in Qur'an and authentic Hadith.

Voices from those we've served

Real stories shared with permission. Names abbreviated for privacy.

After three months of confusion about a marriage proposal, the clarity I received was breathtaking. Not a yes or no — but a peace that pointed me forward. Alhamdulillah.
Aisha M.Toronto, Canada
The scholar's response wasn't just spiritual — it was wise. He helped me see my business decision from angles I had not considered. A genuine gift.
Yusuf K.London, UK
I had carried anxiety for years. The wazaif and ruqyah they recommended became part of my daily life. The shift came slowly, then all at once.

Common Questions

Answers, plainly

What exactly is Istikhara, and is it permissible?
Istikhara is the prayer of seeking guidance from Allah taught directly by the Prophet ﷺ (recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari). It is not divination or fortune-telling — it is a supplication asking Allah to facilitate what is good and divert what is harmful. It is fully Sunnah and recommended for any matter of significance.
Can someone perform Istikhara on my behalf?
Yes — when one is unable, distressed, or unfamiliar with the practice, scholars across the four madhahib have permitted seeking Istikhara from a trustworthy person. We always encourage clients to also pray themselves where possible; our role is to support, not replace.
How long does the process take?
Most consultations are completed within 3 to 7 days. Urgent cases (medical, immediate decisions) are handled within 24–48 hours. We never rush sincerity, but we honour the weight of your timing.
Will I see dreams? Is that the answer?
Sometimes, yes — but dreams are only one form of guidance. Often the answer comes as expansion or constriction in the heart, opened or closed circumstances, or unexpected counsel. We help you read these signs in the light of Sunnah.
Are there any fees? Why is there a charge?
There is a modest contribution that covers the scholar's time, our administration, and ensures the work is sustainable. The fee is for service rendered — never for "results." Hardship cases are accommodated with reduced or waived fees; please ask in confidence.
Is my information kept private?
Absolutely. Your details are accessible only to the assigned scholar and a single coordinator. We never share, sell, or store data beyond what is needed for your case. Confidentiality is both an ethical and Islamic obligation we hold seriously.
